Wilson’s Coastal Club Resort is an oceanfront 9-cottage resort located a short 25-minute drive from Halifax on St. Margaret’s Bay. The Club has wood-fired hot tubs at seven (7) of its nine (9) cottages & our beachfront also features a wood-fired sauna. To keep you comfortable year-round, all cottages are equipped with heat pumps, offering air conditioning in the summer and efficient heating through the winter. No need to let Nova Scotia winters hold you back—this dog-friendly property is open year-round, with fully winterized cottages. Cozy up next to your indoor propane/wood-burning fireplace or unwind under the stars beside a crackling outdoor fire, breathing in the fresh ocean air.

    • Please note that some promotions on other platforms may not be available when booking with us through our website. If you're looking for the absolute lowest price, give our office a call—our guest services team is always happy to offer you the best available rate!

    • Check-In: 3:00–5:00 PM (at the office).

    • If you're arriving after 5:00 PM, we’ll email your check-in instructions to the email we have on file.

    • If you booked through a third-party platform, we’ll send the information through that platform’s chat box instead.

    The Friday before Victoria Day to Labour Day Monday

    • All cottages have 1 parking spot available. Some cottages may have additional space for a second vehicle depending on the size of the vehicles.

    • Additional parking available at the office if needed.

  • Wood-Fired Saltwater Hot Tub Add-On:

    • Guests staying in Cottages 2 through 8 have the option to add a wood-fired saltwater hot tub to their stay for $65 + HST.

    • Please be sure to request this add-on at least 24 hours in advance, as each tub requires several hours to prepare.

    • The one time set up fee covers the full setup process: each tub is emptied, cleaned, refilled with fresh ocean water, and heated, a process that takes approximately 6–8 hours depending on the tub size.

    • A tote of firewood is also included, which can be used for the hot tub or our wood-fired sauna.

    • Dogs: We welcome up to two(2) dogs per cottage.

    • All dogs/animals entering the property at Wilson’s Coastal Club Resort must be registered on a reservation with an associated signed waiver.

    • Waivers must be signed prior to or at the reservation’s inception.

    • Guests must adhere to all the rules and policies laid out within the Waiver.

    • Dogs can be added to any online reservation by selecting the Dog Add-On.

    • All cancellations must be made in writing and sent to: info@wilsonscoastalclub.com

    • Cancellation fees will apply to each cottage booked under your name and/or reservation.

    • To receive a full refund, guests must cancel their reservations within 48 hours of booking.

    • If you cancel any time after 48 hours of booking until 15 days before check-in, your credit card on file will be charged a $175 + HST administration cancellation fee.

    • If you cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, your credit card on file will be charged 50% of the cost of the full reservation for all nights.

    • If you cancel less than 7 days before check-in, your credit card on file will be charged 100% of the cost of the full reservation for all nights.
